Barry M Gelly Polish

I was so excited to try my new Barry M High shine Gelly polishes that I bought last week.The colours I bought were: Blackberry-a really nice muted blue.I especially like this colour as It's not in your face and you can get away with wearing it at the office.

The next colour that I fell in love with was a really nice dark blue/green called watermelon.

Again it's not in your face which is great.

The quality of the nail polishes were really great and they did live up to what the name suggests.The shine was amazing even without a top coat.The top coat and basecoat I used was a two in one from Barry M. Although I did find that applying a top and base coat made it more prone to peeling.

Overall Im really happy with my purchases and these three have become a polish stash favourite!

Birchbox uk June 2014

Birchbox's June global strikers arrived today!The theme for this month is global strikers-in honour of the world cup.So then,lets get started!

There was a lot of hype around this product-Which is very understandable.Birchbox have been pretty generous by including this in the selection.This dinky, pink sponge helps to give an even and flawless look to your foundation.I Haven't really had a sponge blender before so all this was new to me.It works really well and is much better then using your fingers or a brush.Will definitely be using this!

Korres-Citrus body milk|£9.50
This body milk smells divine!Its smooth light formula can be a little messy but it bends directly into skin and feels gorgeous!Although this was in the march birchbox I'm still very happy to see it!

Yves rocher-Sheer botanical lipstick Rouge Groseille|full size|£9.90

I was so so so excited to see this in my birchbox.At first I thought it was some sort of conditioner but was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a stunning true red lipstick.I had been looking for a red lipstick for quite some time so I couldn't believe my luck!The lipstick itself is very soft,moisturising and rich in colour.

Caudalie-Vinperfect SPF15 |Sample size|£38.00

When I received this is was half empty which was a bit disappointing as it seems like a very good product and smells divine.Its a cross between a foundation and a skin cream.which you apply in the mornings.

What can I say about this polish apart from the fact that I absolutely hate it?The colour the texture everything.

Overall this months birchbox was so and so for me.I felt that it live up to the hype.What did you guys think about this months birchbox?

May 2014 Birchbox-Harpers bazaar

This month, birchbox have collaborated with magazine harpers bazaar to create a great outdoors themed box.It's filled with beauty and lifestyle goodies great for welcoming the spring!The box also includes a magazine showing you how to use your products and a Harpers bazaar subscription offer!The box itself is very pretty with a floral, bohemian feel to it.

So,let's see whats inside this months birchbox...

Benefit cosmetics The're real mascara|Luxury trial size|£19.50
This Luxury trial size is the UK's best-selling mascara.To be honest I'm not such a big fan of this mascara-I found that it clumps quite a bit .This being said it does last a very very long time(which can make it a pain to get off).But if you haven't tried it before or are a fan,then this is a great addition to this months box, also being the perfect size for travel.

Soigne Nail Lacquer in cerise|Full size|£11.00 
This new Nail polish brand promises to deliver long lasting nail colour without the toxic nasties.Mine is in the dark pink shade cerise which is bang on trend this season.The quality is also very good and lasted well over a week with little signs of chipping.

Aromatherapy Associates-revive Morning bath and shower oil|3ml sample size|£39
Im new to Aromatherapy Associates so I was very excited to see this in my box.The scent is quite sharp and a tad bit medicinal.I had a quick look at the ingredients and its absolutely packed with essential oils!The product itself is very nourishing to the skin and I will be sure to use it sparingly as it's a very  small sample but the full size cost £39 so I guess this is a great way to try a  the brand before you buy.

Phillip Kingsley -one more day dry shampoo|50ml sample|£6.00
This dry shampoo from phillip kingsley is a must for your beauty box.It instantly refreshes your hair giving it fresh,crisp feel-Great for second day hair.It's packed full of zinc PCA and bisabolol aand has a great fresh scent .The size is very handy for busy bees as it fits in my bag perfect for the times when I don't have the time to stick to my daily shampoo routine.

Liz Earle Beauty Co. Cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser|24ml|from 13.25
Holding over a 100 awards this is a beauty world classic.The cream is for all skin types and removes daily oil and make up from your face.The muslin cloth helps to remove dead skin cells, So in two steps you can have oil free, soft skin. If your new to this brand then this is a great product to start your obsession.


Overall I'm very impressed with this months birchbox.I think it covers a wide range of things from make-up to skin care and I've sampled some new brands too.I think I'll use everything!
